FSC® certification
eGRAPHIC chose to achieve the FSC® certification (Forest Stewardship Council®).
What is FSC®?
FSC® is an international, independent and non-profit NGO created in 1993.
It involves a significant number of stakeholders, including environmentalists, social groups, forest owners, indigenous population groups, large-scale distributors, industries that work and trade in wood, researchers and technicians working together to improve forest management.
The FSC® trademark identifies products containing wood from forests managed in a correct and responsible way, according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.
The printed products acquire a high distinctive value and guarantee (traceability), because all the steps of the materials used are identified: from the forest to the final consumer, including the intermediate stages of production, processing, finishing and distribution.
Why FSC®?
eGRAPHIC has chosen to achieve the FSC® certification to contribute to the environment and natural resources conservation. The certification guarantees to the customers who request it the use of paper and cardboard coming from a responsible forest management and meeting the highest social, environmental and economic requirements.
Through the FSC® certificate, we can demonstrate that the chain that accompanies the entire process of converting our certified materials, from production and assistance to post-printing and logistics, fully complies with the standards set by the Forest Stewardship Council®.
